After graduating from The Widener University School of Law, she drafted legal opinions including workers’ compensation decisions for the Honorable Paul E. Baker. Thereafter, she continued to represent injured workers throughout all stages of litigation including negotiation of settlements. For more than a decade she represented an insurance company. Deborah L. Packer, Esq.
Deborah L. Packer practices primarily in the areas of Workers’ Compensation, Social Security, and Personal Injury, representing Claimants and Plaintiffs before both state and federal administrative agencies and in the Court of Common Pleas of Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, having earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Public Administration. She is a graduate of New York Law School in New York City, where she received her Juris Doctorate. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and in the Pennsylvania Middle and Eastern Districts of the U.S. Federal Court. Ms. Packer has been practicing law in the Central Pennsylvania area for nearly thirty years.
Ms. Packer has lectured for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Elizabethtown College. She previously was an Adjunct Professor at Harrisburg Area Community College where she taught various law courses. Ms. Packer has served on committees for the Humane Society of Dauphin County and United Cerebral Palsy, and has performed volunteer work for various charities in the area. She resides in Dauphin County with her three children and is a lifelong resident of Central Pennsylvania.
